Terms Vocabulary

Use this page as a quick reference for the words used in product and implementation docs.

Template

A reusable starting point that contains code and editable schema definitions.

Template Version

A saved snapshot of a template at a specific point in time.

Snippet

A small reusable code fragment you can insert into your working project.

Widget

A published, embeddable output that can run on other websites.

Instance

A concrete, configured copy of a template with its own saved settings values.

Schema

A structured definition of what can be edited without changing code.

Settings

Top-level editable fields in schema, such as text, color, or URL values.

Section Settings

Top-level settings that apply to the whole section or widget, not a single repeated item.

Examples include heading, subtitle, theme colors, and shared labels.

Blocks

Repeatable groups in schema, for example plans, testimonials, or FAQs.

Preset

A default starter configuration for settings and blocks.

Customize

The no-code editing UI generated from schema.

Embed Code

The iframe snippet used to place a published widget on another site.

Public Widget URL

The shareable link that opens the widget result directly.

Edit Link

A link intended for controlled editing workflows.
